MARGARITA ISAZA

She was born in Medellín, Colombia. Her first studies were in Medellin at the School of Fine Arts and then at the San Fernando Academy in Madrid, Spain, with Professor Rafael Martinez Diaz, where she lived with her family for a period of four years.

Upon returning to Colombia, she resumed her art studies at the Instituto de Artes de Medellín, where she later became a professor of painting.

Later, her pictorial development was directed by renowned professors and artists such as Samuel Vásquez and Justo Arosemena.
